VirtualDJ - Comment configurer Numark TTX en timecode avec … ![]() A problem I'm having with my new timecode set-up on VDJ.That has given me some of the most rewarding experiences I have had as a DJ.Virtual DJ Timecode Issues (PROBLEM FIXED) - YouTube I want to share with them something that they would never hear anywhere else. I started DJing as a way to share a piece of myself with others through music I loved that I could not express verbally. I spent more on vinyl my first year than I did on equipment. Now it's $1.29 for a track or at most on some sites $2.00. Then it was usually $7-10 for domestic records and $10-13 for imports. It doesn't matter if you have that equipment if you're not ready to spend the money for tracks. Would you be willing to put in the time and effort to do this? To in the end try to tell a story or create a journey that nobody else has done?Īnyone can buy any equipment, even yesteryear with 1200s. If it was difficult to be a DJ, ie: would you go to the record store weekly? would you talk with the buyers about what tracks you wanted? Would you be first at the store when the latest order arrived? Would you put in the hours to train your ears to discern tracks? Would you be able to find tracks that nobody else would? Would you be able to mix tracks coherently if they key wasn't spelled out for you on the track? Would you do this if only you had your ears to trust and not a visual kick drum on screen? I think the gatekeeping is dangerous but has its roots in a complicated response. I have good and bad thoughts about this they are mixed below and it's a larger issue not just one piece of software.
